Welcome to CGEE -

The River Education Network is a project of Hamline University's Center for Global Environmental Education.

This site brings together a wide variety of river and watershed education resources, and gives you the ability to find exactly what you need to teach students of all ages about our relationships to water.  Images of rivers help students visualize the complex beauty of river systems.  Maps of watersheds give you the big picture of how streams flow together to form great rivers.  Lesson plans, written and tested by teachers, give you concrete strategies for teaching core concepts in science, social studies, math and literacy.  To begin your search, click the link below.
